DISCO Corporation (Headquarters: Ota-ku, Tokyo, President: Kazuma Sekiya) was selected for the FTSE4 Good Global Index, which is an index of SRI (Social Responsibility Investment). DISCO has been selected as a stock to be covered by this index in the six consecutive years since 2004.
What is the FTSE4 Good Global Index ?
A stock index provided by the FTSE (a joint venture of the Financial Times and the London Stock Exchange), a specialized organization in UK which rates stocks and bonds. This is the representative SRI index equal to the DJSI (Dow Jones Sustainability World Index) and important criteria in selecting investment destinations for investors who are interested in CSR (Corporate Social Responsibility).
