DISCO resumes construction of the new building at the Chino Plant

DISCO Corporation (Head Office: Ota-ku, Tokyo; President: Kazuma Sekiya) has decided to resume the construction work of the new building at Chino Plant*1 in Nagano Prefecture in view of an upturn in the surrounding business environment. This construction was suspended in December 2008 as one of the measures to deal with the slowing economy.

*1 At the Chino Plant, DAIICHI Components, Ltd., a subsidiary of DISCO Corporation, currently manufactures its products.

Approximately 19,800 m²
(five stories above the ground and one underground)

Total amount of investment

About 3.0 billion yen

*2 BCM = Business Continuity Management

Schedule

November 2009 to end of February 2010

:

Checking specifications and ordering products for construction

Beginning of February 2010

:

Resuming construction on site (including the preparatory work)

Middle of June 2010

:

Scheduled completion
