DISCO is Ranked 7th among the Best Workplaces in Japan

DISCO Corporation (Headquarters: Ota-ku, Tokyo; President: Kazuma Sekiya) came in seventh in the 2012 Best Workplaces in Japan ranking conducted by the Great Place to Work® Institute Japan (7th out of 123 companies, DISCO ranked 11th in last year's survey). This marks the fourth consecutive year that DISCO has been recognized in the ranking
Great Place to Work® defines that a great place to work is one in which you "trust the people you work for, have pride in what you do, and enjoy the people you work with". This survey investigates and evaluates comprehensively what the organizations do to make their workplace better, actual results and awareness of employees from the dimensions of "credibility," "respect," "fairness," "pride" and "camaraderie".
DISCO was especially well appraised for “credibility”, “respect for employees” and the “pride felt by employees toward the company and their job”.
DISCO believes that providing a workplace where employees can work satisfactorily leads to better customer satisfaction and enhances corporate value. As a part of this commitment, the Company has conducted the employee satisfaction (ES) survey every year since 2003 and utilizes the results for developing measures to improve ES. In January 2010, the Project to Develop a Rewarding Workplace, an organization dedicated to the improvement of ES, was established. DISCO will endeavor to maintain the best workplaces in Japan where all employees can work with even more satisfaction.
*Great Place to Work® Institute measures and analyzes companies in over 40 countries based on the common standards, selects the best places to work in each country, and presents the result as "Best Workplaces" in major media in that country. In Japan, the survey has been conducted and the results announced since 2007.
